Set in an industrial wasteland, Landscape with Monsters will be a large-scale show where Circa’s acrobats will work with a local choir to explore the emotional highs and lows of post-industrial communities faced with uncertainty and change.
Throughout the 2-week creative development period in January in Wollongong, Circa’s artists collaborated with local artists, explored a range of fresh and exisiting circus acts with new objects, did a site visit to the steel works and explored the emotional depths and structures of gospel music.
