SENIOR FINANCE OFFICER (Maternity Leave)

Bring your finance expertise to work that matters.

Circa is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Finance Officer to help keep our financial world spinning smoothly behind the scenes. Covering parental leave, you’ll support the day-to-day finance operations of one of the world’s leading performing arts companies: payroll, reconciliations, budget tracking, BAS and PAYG, and strong financial systems across the organisation.

This is a varied role for someone with sharp attention to detail and a collaborative streak.

Full time. Maximum-term parental leave cover. Brisbane-based. Flexible work supported.

The position description can be viewed here.

Send a CV (maximum three pages) and a cover letter (maximum two pages) to recruit@circa.org.au with the subject line “Production Manager”. Applications close midnight Wednesday 2 September. Questions about the role are welcome at the same email address.

Circa may appoint prior to the closing date.

PRODUCTION MANAGERS

When our acrobats take their bows, it rests on decisions you made at 8am.

Circa is hiring two Production Managers.

Love the idea of walking into a 19th century opera house with a plan built for a black box and making it work by lunchtime? You turn the freight complication, the house crew who don’t speak your language, the console that misbehaves into the show that ends in a standing ovation.

You’ll need high-level production management skills including lighting, rigging (or the capacity to learn), the ability to lead a team and an appetite for the road.

Full time. Based a bit in Brisbane, touring globally.

The position description can be viewed here.

Send a CV (maximum three pages) and a cover letter (maximum two pages) to recruit@circa.org.au with the subject line “Production Manager”. Applications close Sunday 30 August. Questions about the role are welcome at the same email address.

Circa may appoint prior to the closing date.

As a Casual Trainer at Circa, you will contribute to delivering safe and engaging circus classes that align with the Academy’s curriculum. The ideal candidates will have strong technical skills in their area, the ability to demonstrate as needed, and a commitment to fostering a positive and creative learning environment. This role requires physical fitness, adaptability, and a strong focus on student growth and safety. Trainers will be assigned to specific class levels based on their expertise, with flexibility to assist across different programs when required.

The position description for this role can be found here.

To apply please send a CV and a cover letter to recruit@circa.org.au. Please direct any enquiries in the first instance to recruit@circa.org.au
