CIRCA IS CASTING // ENSEMBLE MEMBERS

Throughout 2020, Circa has kept creating.

In the midst of the pandemic, we continued to employ all our artists. Now we are growing. With exciting new shows to make and tour, we are looking for driven, creative acrobats to join us.

At the heart of Circa is our ensemble of exceptional circus artists. They are a team of talented acrobats who possess diverse skills, abundant creativity and a powerful work ethic. They relish working in a group and excel at group acrobatics. They can navigate multiple repertoire and new creations simultaneously. They are capable of strong performance presence, communicating with candour and embodying Circa’s values of Quality, Audacity and Humanity. With Artistic Director Yaron Lifschitz, guest creatives and multiple collaborators, they fearlessly ask “what is possible in circus?”

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for female and male acrobats with experience and strong skills in partner and group acrobatics. Solo disciplines are an advantage. We have a variety of roles across bases, middles and fliers.

Circa acrobats are employed full-time, year round. They are based in Brisbane, Australia. Applications are welcome from everywhere. Travel restrictions may impede employment options in the short term. We have roles starting early in 2021 with others starting later in the year. Circa is an equal opportunity employer and encourages diversity in its applicants. A strong knowledge of English is a requirement

If you are interested in joining the Circa ensemble, please send your CV and up to three links of your work to casting@nullcirca.org.au
